Wild Rice is a natural grain originally indigenous to the United States and Canada. Not actually a true rice, the edible seeds are of a watergrass known as ZIzaniaAquatica.
Jaivika Naturals Wild Rice is processed by a parching method similar to one that Native American Indians have employed over the centuries. Heat dries the grain and produces a product with an indefinite shelf life. Wild Rice are grown and sourced from Northern Saskatchewan region of Canada utilizing fertile soil, clean, natural lakes fresh water and in pristine environmental condition.

Wild Rice is high in protein, the amino acid lysine and dietary fiber and low in fat. It is gluten free and is also a good source of iron, magnesium, zinc, phosphorous, folate and vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B9. It also contains beneficial amounts of heart-healthy linoleic acid.
